One can import these vCards into email applications like MS Outlook and Lotus Notes, which saves the email recipients from the burden of manually entering contact information.

Creating Own vCard: To create (or edit) a vCard follow the following steps:

  1. Go to Tools > Account Settings
  2. Select email account
  3. Click the ‘Edit vCard’ button

In Mozilla Thunderbird, one can automatically attach vCard to every email that is being sent. For automatically including vCard in outgoing emails, simply check the ‘Attach my vCard’ to all the messages checkboxes. One can create as many vCards as there are email accounts and identities. Multiple identities can also share the same email account.
