Infrared Exchange – How to Use vCard?

Imagine a scenario, where one is walking into a meeting and vCards are beaming over infrared links between the hand-held organizers, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants), and notebook PCs from any of the manufacturers.

Within a few seconds, all the participants of the meeting will have all the vital information automatically stored in their favorite directories.

Later, this information can also be used for placing a phone call, sending a fax or an Email, or even for initiating a video conference.

There is no requirement of manually entering that business card information as it is automatically entered with the help of vCards.
